Rage Expo 2013 has come and gone like a speck of dust in the wind erased from the memories of those who were excited to see the release of the newest consoles, gaming titles and of course Cosplay offered by the multi talented artists around the whole of Southern Africa.

We were privileged enough to gain sponsorship and entry into the Expo this year mainly thanks to our friends at Smallville Comics Alberton (Pictured to the left)

Upon entering the Dome on Friday for our first appearance as Battle Joker (DC Universe Online) and Harley Quinn we soon realized that some major changes had been made since our first appearance in 2012. The Exhibitors  listing was smaller,

larger expo walkways and passages had been added for the immense crowds (Yay) and the overall look of the Expo seemed revitalized and renewed (an improvement on 2012) in our opinion. We were super excited when the first horde of expo goers entered the Dome, not knowing as to what the overall day would present to us as  highly recognizable DC universe characters. To our surprise the crowd was amazing, we appreciated every photograph taken, every compliment drawn and every single fan that crossed our path. The highlight of the day was meeting a small boy who was an oober Joker and Harley  fan, carrying a custom  Joker artwork he smiled from ear to ear and presented me with the biggest hug ever when I bent down to take a photo, this was truly a humbling Cosplay experience and reminded me why I continue to carry on with the art form.

Whilst wondering around the Expo we came across fellow cosplayers at the NAG Magazine booth. Man these guys all looked amazing with a superb attention to detail and love of the art form present in each and every costume. Pulled in by our friends to the booth we soon found that we could not escape the continuous flash of cameras and introduction to many varying fans of Cosplay. our hats go off to Miguel Lima, Genevieve KomboKitten Lesch  , Tayla Barter and Yamaki Chiya

for standing at the booth for the entire day. (2000 pictures taken) that's spectacular

For us as a cosplay Duo. Friday was the day that rocked!! A truly rewarding experience (minus the sore and aching feet) for all the hard work and preparation put into our Cosplay. Once again Nasdwork'z would like to thank Smallville Comics Alberton and our wonderful community of fellow South African Cosplayers for making Rage 2013 the event worth attending.
